Dressing with yoghurt, cumin, and lime

A cumin-yoghurt dressing with a very distinct but delicious Middle Eastern flavour.

Makes 1700ml.

  • yoghurt
  • 500 mayonnaise
  • limes, juice and zest
  • 20 ground cumin
  • cloves garlic
  •  as needed salt

Preparation method

  • Toast the cumin seeds in a pan.
  • Mix the yoghurt, mayonnaise, lime juice, lime zest, and toasted cumin seeds.
  • Grate the garlic with a fine grater and stir into the dressing.
  • Let ripen in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
  • Season the dressing with salt.

Serving suggestions

  • Delicious with cabbage lettuce, lamb, and potato.
  • Combines well with aubergine, almond, and onion.
  • Fantastic with a dish with components of cod, couscous, and tomato.
