clarified butter

Preparation method

  • Thoroughly mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Beat the eggs and stir into a thick, yet smooth batter with the mixed dry ingredients.
  • While stirring, slowly add the milk. Finish with the clarified butter.
  • Fry the pancakes in a little oil or frying spray in a small frying pan (approx. 10cm in diameter).
  • They should be approx. 1cm thick.

Serving suggestions

  • As a breakfast dish with maple syrup or blueberries.
  • Delicious with lightly fried bacon and onion syrup.
