Preparation method

  • Clean the avocados. To do so, cut the avocado lengthwise around the stone and twist to reveal the stone. Remove the stone with the help of a chef's knife.
  • Scoop the avocado flesh away from the peel.
  • Grate the lime zest and squeeze out the juice of one half.
  • Mash the avocado with the olive oil and lime with the help of a fork or in a food processor.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serving suggestions

  • As a garnish on a hamburger made from minced veal, tomato salsa, and confited onion.
  • Serve on a roll or sandwich in combination with a fresh prawn salad.
  • Serve on a roll or sandwich in combination with crab salad and sour cream.
  • Served on toasted bruschetta.
