Preparation method

  • Finely grind the butter together with the bacon in a cutter.
  • Spread a thick layer of bacon butter onto the puff pastry.
  • Fold the pastry into butterfly shapes and set in the refrigerator to firm up.
  • Cut the pastry into thin slices and bake for around ten minutes at 180°C.

Serving suggestions

  • As a crispy garnish with cold and hot starters, such as components of pork neck or rib.
  • As a side dish with cold and hot starters.
  • As a cocktail snack.
