Baobab strained yoghurt

The strained yoghurt is flavored with baobab powder. This powder is made from the fruits of the baobab tree. The tree's fruits are large pods known as monkey bread or cream of tartar gruit.

Preparation method

  • Mix the strained yoghurt with the baobab and preferably leave overnight.

Serving suggestions

  • In a dessert with Heuningbos butterscotch sauce, caramelised macadamia nuts, chocolate earth, and coconut ice cream.
  • Use in a composition with components of mango, vanilla, and pineapple.
  • Use in a composition with components of avocado, citrus fruit, and peach.
