Preparation method
- Melt the butter and gently fry the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the spices and fry briefly to release their flavours.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and leave to cook and evaporate for fifteen minutes until you have a thick sauce.
- Set aside to cool before use.
Serving suggestions
- As a dip or as an independent sauce.
- This barbecue sauce goes well with meat roasted on the barbecue such as rib eye, steak, or spare ribs.
- Use in a dish with components of beef neck, oxheart cabbage, and corn.
