shallot, finely chopped



caraway seeds

orange, juice and zest

Preparation method

  • Clean the cabbage by removing any damaged leaves.
  • Finely slice the white cabbage with a mandolin.  
  • Melt the butter and gently fry the finely chopped onion for a few minutes.
  • Add the caraway seeds and continue to braise for several more minutes.
  • Add the orange juice and the cabbage and braise for ten to twelve minutes.
  • Season to taste with orange zest, salt, and pepper. 

Serving suggestions

  • As a vegetable side dish served with a composition with roast meat, onion, and potato.
  • As a component in a salad with other vegetables or as a warm component in a cold salad.
  • Delicious paired with components of duck, beetroot, and potato.
