Ingredients

shallots, finely diced |

Preparation method
- Pick the butterhead lettuce leaves and rinse in plenty of cold water.
- Dry them in your salad spinner.
- Shred the lettuce leaves into the desired size.
- In a large bowl, combine the diced shallot, dressing, pepper, and salt.
- Serve immediately.
Serving suggestions
- As part of a salad buffet.
- As part of a cold starter or combined salad.
- Variation tip: replace the French dressing with another dressing, such as a fennel and Chardonnay dressing, a shallot dressing, a honey and mustard dressing or a Riesling dressing.
