Ingredients

butterhead lettuce

g

shallots, finely diced

 

 

French dressing

 

 

pepper

 

 

salt

Preparation method

  • Pick the butterhead lettuce leaves and rinse in plenty of cold water.
  • Dry them in your salad spinner.
  • Shred the lettuce leaves into the desired size.
  • In a large bowl, combine the diced shallot, dressing, pepper, and salt.
  • Serve immediately.

Serving suggestions

  • As part of a salad buffet.
  • As part of a cold starter or combined salad.
  • Variation tip: replace the French dressing with another dressing, such as a fennel and Chardonnay dressing, a shallot dressing, a honey and mustard dressing or a Riesling dressing.
