Carrot salad
Simple salad with a basis of carrot, topped with French dressing. The success of this salad depends on the accuracy of your dicing and, of course, the use of a good and sharp chef's knife!
Recipe for 1 kilogram.

Preparation method
- Peel the carrot and grate using a coarse grater or cut into very fine julienne.
- Chop the shallot very finely.
- Combine the carrot, shallot, and dressing.
- Season to taste with the sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Store at 4°C.
Serving suggestions
- As part of a salad buffet.
- As part of a cold starter or combined salad.
- Variation tip: replace French dressing with another dressing, such as an Asian dressing, a shallot dressing, a lime dressing, a Riesling dressing, or a citrus dressing.
