Ingredients

white wine

sugar

litre

whipping cream

As needed:

 

vanilla sauce

almond slivers, toasted

Preparation method

  • Add the lemon zest to the wine and refrigerate for twelve hours.
  • Sieve the zest from the wine.
  • Mix the whipping cream with the infused wine.
  • Beat until firm but fluffy.
  • Divide the cream between glasses and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Finish the glasses with vanilla sauce and toasted almond slivers just before serving.

Serving suggestions

  • As a dessert on its own.
  • As part of a dessert buffet.
  • Place a scoop of ice cream at the bottom of the glass and then divide the cream between the glasses. Serve this immediately.
  • Serve with different types of red fruit.
