By replacing part of the water with coconut milk, the rice is infused with a beautiful aroma and creamy texture.

water

coconut milk

Preparation method

  • Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
  • Cook the rice in water for ten minutes until nearly done.
  • Add the coconut milk, cover with a lid, and remove from the heat to cook further. This will take approximately fifteen minutes.
  • Stir with a fork.

Serving suggestions

  • In a composition with langoustine, dashi, and mango salad.
  • Delicious served with chickpeas, pumpkin, and chilli pepper.
  • Vary by adding star anise or cardamom while cooking the rice.
