Preparation method

  • Clean the cabbage, carrot, and onion.
  • Use a coarse grater to grate the cabbage, carrot, and onion in a bowl.
  • Mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, white wine vinegar, and mustard until well-blended and smooth.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Mix the dressing through the cabbage mixture.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper. 

Serving suggestions

  • As a salad for a barbecue.
  • As a salad component in a sandwich.
  • As a side dish served with deep-fried chicken.
