Preparation method

  • Put all the ingredients in a pan.
  • Make sure the mustard seeds are just covered by the liquid.
  • Bring to a gentle boil and simmer for 45 minutes. 
  • Store the mustard seeds in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. 

Serving suggestions

  • In a mustard sauce.
  • As a garnish on a ‘cheese cube’ of mango.
  • As an accompaniment with charcuterie and cheese.
