Preparation method

  • Reduce all ingredients to a syrup.
  • Strain the mixture and keep the onion as a component and the glaze as a component.

Serving suggestions

  • As an added sweet tone to a savoury starter or main course, with components of potato, cabbage, aubergine or tomato, for example.
  • As a sweet-savoury component with poultry, e.g. in a dish of pheasant, red cabbage and potato.
  • Delicious in a dish with components of quail, sweetcorn and asparagus.
