The salt in the 'sea water' enhances the taste of the cucumber. By dissolving the salt in water, the cucumber will remain juicy.

Preparation method

  • Prepare saltwater using 3.4% salt. In other words, for use 34 grams of salt for every litre of water.
  • Wash the mini cucumbers and marinate them in the saltwater overnight.
  • Cut them into the desired shape. 

Serving suggestions

  • As part of a composition, e.g. with olive, oyster and cucumber components. 
  • As part of an amuse-bouche, e.g.with crispy quinoa and tzatziki.
  • Use in a composition with components of mackerel, tomato, and couscous.
