Ingredients

dried apricots

granulated sugar

brandy

Preparation method

  • Wash the apricots in warm water and pat dry.
  • Pour boiling water in the preserving jar and pour it out again.
  • Put the apricots, split vanilla pod, and orange peel in the preserving jar.
  • Pour over the brandy and put the lid on the jar.
  • Set aside for at least six months, and turn it regularly.

Serving suggestions

  • You can use them in a game sauce or compote.
  • As a garnish for pancakes.
  • As a basic ingredient for a cocktail.
