Preparation method

  • Fry the cayenne pepper briefly in the pan to intensify the flavour.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Season to taste with salt.
  • Pour the gochujang into a sealable pot and store in the refrigerator. It will keep for about a month.

  • As a flavour element in Korean dishes.
