Preparation method

  • Remove the outer leaves from the lettuce and lightly coat the head of lettuce with oil.
  • Lightly grill on both sides, season to taste and serve immediately. 

Serving suggestions

  • With a Caesar dressing and grilled chicken.
  • With barbecued meat.
  • A classic dish with a twist: grilled butterhead lettuce with prawns and cocktail sauce.
  • With an avocado dip and a tomato chutney.
