Preparation method

  • Finely chop the chilli pepper and garlic.
  • Add this to the peanut oil and heat up to approximately 50°C.
  • Allow the chilli pepper and garlic to infuse for 30 minutes and then set the oil aside to cool down.
  • Cut the stalks into the desired shape and size and marinade in the oil.
  • Heat a grill pan until it starts to smoke.
  • Briefly grill the chard on all sides.
  • Season to taste with salt.

Serving suggestions

  • It makes a fine basis for a vegetable dish with avocado, tomato, and goat's cheese.
  • Delicious in a composition with beef, tomato, and courgette.
  • As a component in a composition with chicken thighs, aubergine, and rice.
