Grilled plum with rosemary

This preparation is an essential in the plum season! Grilling them on the charcoal barbecue gives them a delicious flavour and caramelises the sugars.

Preparation method

  • Cut the plums in half and remove the stones.
  • Place the rosemary in a bowl of water.
  • Heat a charcoal barbecue to 200°C.
  • Place the sprigs of rosemary on the hot coals.
  • Grill the plums for five minutes with the cover closed.

Serving suggestions

  • As a warm part of a salad with goat's cheese, nuts, and rocket.
  • As a garnish with poultry.
  • Delicious with lamb, tarragon and pistachio.
