Preparation method

  • Cut the tuna into the desired shape and place on paper towels to dry.
  • Heat up the grill pan, coat with the oil and wait until it starts smoking (at approx. 210°C).
  • Clean the pan again and add oil once more.
  • Place the tuna in the pan. Turn when it comes loose from the pan.
  • Grill the tuna on both sides until it has grill markings (stripes or cross-hatched).

Serving suggestions

  • As a component in a starter, e.g. with finely sliced onion, soy and sesame.
  • As a component in a modern Salade Niçoise.
  • As a component in a main course with tomato, fennel, cucumber, rice, conical cabbage or aubergine components.
