ripe watermelon, preferably seedless



feta (Greek cheese)



fresh basil



olive oil, extra virgin



salt and black pepper

Preparation method

  • Cut the watermelon into neat cubes and grill briefly on two sides.
  • Arrange in a bowl with coarsely chopped feta cubes and basil.
  • Season with olive oil, sea salt and pepper.
  • If desired, sprinkle with balsamic vinegar. 

Serving suggestions

  • Serve as a salad.
  • The salad can also be served with a few crostini.
