Ingredients

horseradish

sour cream

whipping cream, unsweetened

mustard powder

white wine vinegar

 

 

black pepper and salt

Preparation method

  • Peel the horseradish and grate into a bowl with a fine grater.
  • Pour enough hot water into the bowl to cover the horseradish.
  • Soak for fifteen minutes.
  • Stir together the sour cream, whipping cream, white wine vinegar, and the mustard powder.
  • Drain the horseradish and squeeze out the liquid.
  • Stir the drained horseradish through the sauce base.
  • Season to taste with salt and black pepper.

Serving suggestions

  • Serve with roast beef, roast pork, or roast chicken.
  • As a sauce to serve with grilled steak.
