Ingredients

chickpeas, cooked

cloves

garlic

tbsp

lemon juice

tbsp

tahini

tbsp

olive oil

cumin

lime

coriander

Preparation method

  • Drain the chickpeas but keep the liquid.
  • Blend the chickpeas with two tablespoons of the liquid until smooth.
  • Add the garlic, lemon juice, lime juice, coriander, and tahini and blend into a smooth mixture.
  • Gradually pour in the olive oil.
  • Add the cumin and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serving suggestions

  • As a spread on toasted bread or bruschetta.
  • Serve on a roll or sandwich in combination with smoked or cooked chicken.
  • Serve on a roll or sandwich in combination with pulled pork.
