Ingredients

aged soya sauce

white vinegar

dark caster sugar

chilli flakes

Preparation method

  • Combine all the ingredients.
  • Stir well until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Cover the meat with the marinade and refrigerate for at least one hour. 

Serving suggestions

  • As a marinade for cuts of beef such as a flank steak, rib eye, or butler’s steak.
  • Keep some of the marinade and use as a sauce to serve with the steak.
