Preparation method

  • Blend the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • In another bowl, mix the beer, yoghurt and eggs until smooth and slowly add to the blended butter.
  • Sift the flour, cocoa and baking soda together and blend into the mixture.
  • Bake in a preheated 160ºC oven. The cake is done when a cake tester inserted into it comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the baking pan.

Serving suggestions

  • As part of a composition with e.g. chocolate and porcini mushrooms.
  • As a basis for friandises.
