Macerated strawberries

The sugar will crush the strawberries and  will release liquid ('bleed'), which then mixes with the sugar and produces a delicious broth.

Preparation method

  • Put the strawberries and sugar in a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake for 10 seconds.
  • Serve the strawberries and syrup together.

Serving suggestions

  • Use in a composition with components of red fruit, yoghurt, and mint.
  • Use in a composition with components of chocolate, mint, and vanilla.
  • Use in a composition with components of avocado, citrus fruit, and tarragon.
