gold rum

Preparation method

  • Combine all ingredients.
  • Pour the cocktail into a large steel gastronorm dish.
  • Put the dish in the freezer and wait until the cocktail is solid (which will take some time: due to the sugar and alcohol the mixture will only freeze at a very low temperature).
  • Then, scraping with a fork, shave the ice and scrape into the desired glass.

Serving suggestions

  • As an unusual cocktail.
  • As a component in a dessert, e.g. alongside coconut mousse and white chocolate crisp.
