Ingredients

white wine vinegar

smooth French mustard

coarse-grained mustard

honey

sunflower oil

Preparation method

  • Mix the white wine vinegar, the smooth and coarse mustard, the honey and the salt in a mixing bowl.
  • Add the oil in a thin stream while continuing to stir the mixture slowly with a whisk. This will cause the oil and vinegar to emulsify.
  • Season with salt and pepper if desired. 

Serving suggestions

  • As a dressing in a salad bar, or to dress salads in the kitchen.
  • You can vary with the flavour by substituting the oil, or part of the oil, with other oils such as walnut or hazelnut oil.
