Orange and caraway salt

The salt absorbs the flavours of the caraway seeds and orange. Add a little of this salt to a dish just before serving to add an extra dimension.

Preparation method

  • Heat the caraway seeds in an oven at 60°C.
  • Grate the orange zest above the salt and mix well.
  • Mix the caraway seeds with the salt.
  • Store covered in a dry place.

Serving suggestions

  • As a flavour enhancer for meat or fish.
  • As a dry marinade for roast beef or salted meat. 
  • A special addition to desserts or bonbons.
