Orange tuile

This is a simple biscuit to make with a pronounced orange flavour. Let the batter rest for 12 hours before use, this will benefit the baking result.

orange, zest

orange juice

Preparation method

  • Mix all the dry ingredients together.
  • Melt the butter in a pan and add the orange juice and zest.
  • Combine the butter mixture with the dry ingredients.
  • Set aside the batter in the refrigerator to rest for at least twelve hours.
  • Spread out the batter as thinly as possible and bake in an oven at 160˚C for six minutes. 

Serving suggestions

  • As a crisp in a dish with other citrus components.
  • As a crisp in a dish with chocolate.
  • As part of a friandise.
