This is the basic recipe for this Dutch classic. You can use all sorts of garnishes.

egg yolk |

clarified butter |
Preparation method
- Beat half of the milk with the flour to create a smooth batter.
- Add the eggs and the egg yolk.
- Slowly add the remaining milk and beat until you have a smooth batter.
- Add the salt and the clarified butter to finish the batter.
- Fry the pancakes in a big frying pan in butter or oil.
Serving suggestions
- As a meal, with syrup or icing sugar.
