Ingredients

Conference pears

ml

medium sherry

sugar

brandy

Preparation method

  • Peel the pears, quarter them vertically, and remove the core.
  • Place the pears in a dish, drizzle the sherry over them, and sprinkle the sugar over them evenly.
  • Cover the dish and cook at 175°C for 45 minutes.
  • Leave the pears to cool and then pour the brandy over them.
  • Keep the pears in brandy.

Serving suggestions

  • As a side dish with game, e.g. with wild duck and red cabbage.
  • As a component in a dessert, e.g. with a rice composition.
