Preparation method

  • Peel and quarter the onions.
  • Combine with the remaining ingredients.
  • Cook covered over a low heat for two to three hours

Serving suggestions

  • As part of a dish, e.g. with red cabbage components, duck breast and hoisin balls.
  • In a cold starter with fish, radishes and chives.
  • As part of a salad with smoked duck breast and/or bacon.
