mushroom powder

Preparation method

  • Clean the quails and remove the legs and the wings.
  • Mix the butter with the mushroom powder You can buy the powder ready-made or make it yourself by drying sliced mushrooms for 24 hours and grinding them into a fine powder.
  • Rub the butter on the outside and the inside of the quails and under the skin.
  • Roast in an oven at 230°C oven for approximately ten to twelve minutes. 

Serving suggestions

  • Serve as a main dish with thick-cut chips and red cabbage salad.
  • Serve as a main dish with a lentil salad.
  • Serve with components of oxheart cabbage, red cabbage, potato, lentils, Brussel sprouts, apples, nuts, mushrooms, Jerusalem artichoke, or leeks.
