apricots

sugar water (1:1)

walnuts

Preparation method

  • Soak the apricots in sugar water.
  • Cut the onion into rings and cook them in the apricot liquid.
  • Finely chop the walnuts.
  • Mix all the ingredients together.

Serving suggestions

  • As a side dish with game or poultry, e.g. with wild duck, cauliflower and potato components.
  • As part of a starter, served with duck liver and a refreshing herb salad.
