salmon fillet, skin removed

Preparation method

  • Cut the salmon fillet into 150g sections.
  • With a sharp knife, shape to create one long, thin slice from each.
  • Sprinkle basil leaves over each slice and then roll up.
  • Wrap each roll in aluminium foil, leaving the top and bottom free.
  • Fry on each side until golden brown and season with salt and pepper.
  • Remove the aluminium foil. 

Serving suggestions

  • As a composition with tomato, capers, onions, North Sea shrimp, and tarragon.
  • As a component in a salad, served with an herb salad, onion, and basil mayonnaise.
  • Perfect in combination with olive oil, burrata and black pepper.
