Preparation method

  • For the marinade, mix together all the ingredients - except for the short rib - in a blender until smooth.
  • Place the short rib in an oven dish and cover with the marinade. Cover the dish and slow-cook in the oven at 95°C for six hours.
  • Trim and debone the short rib and the meat set aside to cool.
  • Strain the marinade and reduce to its original amount.
  • Cut the meat into slices, grill on the barbecue, and baste with the marinade.

Serving suggestions

  • Serve with fried onions as a snack.
  • Serve as a meat component in an Asian-style dish.
