baharat (spice mixture)

Preparation method

  • Peel the pineapple and cut into cubes.
  • Boil all the other ingredients together.
  • Add the pineapple and bring back to the boil.

Serving suggestions

  • As part of a starter or amuse-bouche, e.g. with quail satay or pork belly.
  • Delicious with paté or raw ham. Also delicious when combined with crustaceans.
