Strawberry confiture
A confiture is a preparation made from whole fruits, which often leaves (large) pieces behind. This is in contrast to jam, where the fruits are smoothed.

ascorbic acid |
Preparation method
- Boil all the ingredients except for the ascorbic acid to 105°C.
- Add the ascorbic acid and set to cool.
- Keep in a closed container.
Serving suggestions
- As a garnish with dessert compositions, e.g. with mint, vanilla, ginger, lychees or coffee.
- As a sweet and sour contrast to strong, savoury flavours.
- As part of pastry or use as a filling or topping.
