Sugared strawberry

Dehydrating strawberries makes them sweeter and more intense in taste, but also crispy. Make sure that the strawberries are not too ripe so that they can be cut properly.

Preparation method

  • Carefully cut the strawberries into thin slices.
  • Coat on both sides with the sugar.
  • Dry in a food dehydrator at 55°C.
  • Keep in a closed container. 

Serving suggestions

  • As a component in a composition with red fruits.
  • As a component in a composition with mascarpone, sumac blue berry and pistachio.
  • As a topping, e.g. pastry or bonbons.
