Ingredients

sweet potatoes

 

 

olive oil

1

 

shallot, finely chopped

2

cloves

garlic, finely diced

1

tsp

red chilli pepper, ground

1

tbsp

ground paprika

 

 

salt

Preparation method

  • Peel the sweet potatoes and chop into chunks of 2 to 3 cm.
  • Rinse the sweet potatoes and pat dry well.
  • Heat a generous glug of olive oil in a frying pan and fry the sweet potatoes until golden brown.
  • Add the shallot and garlic at the end and fry briefly.
  • Season with the chilli, ground paprika, and salt. 

Serving suggestions

  • As part of a selection of tapas.
  • Delicious served with grilled or roast chicken.
