French dressing













Preparation method

  • Monder (peel) the tomatoes in boiling water and immediately transfer them to ice water.
  • Once peeled, cut the tomatoes into the desired shape. Use a towel to dry the tomatoes lightly.
  • Mix them with the dressing, pepper, and salt.
  • You could add chopped basil or tarragon.
  • Store at 4°C or serve immediately.

Serving suggestions

  • As part of a salad buffet.
  • As part of a cold starter or combined salad.
  • Collect and use the liquid that is released when peeling the tomatoes.
  • Variation tip: replace French dressing with another dressing, such as a tomato dressing, a lime dressing, or a balsamic vinegar dressing.
