Vanilla crumble
This is a great recipe for crumble dough as a finish for fruit or pastries but it's also a great way to add a crispy component to your dessert.

Preparation method
- Mix the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to create a lovely crumble.
- Allow to set in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 150°C for fifteen minutes.
Serving suggestions
- As part of a dessert with components of rhubarb, grapefruit, and white chocolate.
- As a finishing touch to a cake, vlaai (sweet tart), or baked fruit.
