cashew nuts, unroasted

 

 

salt

Preparation method

  • Soak the cashew nuts in plenty of cold water for at least 12 hours.
  • Strain the nuts and transfer them to a food processor.
  • Mix to a smooth, creamy consistency. This will take approximately 15 minutes. 
  • Season with salt.

Serving suggestions

  • As a basis for a variety of vegan preparations such as cheesecake, ice cream, spreads, etc.
  • As a base for vanilla cashew nut ice cream.
  • Season with fresh herbs and lemon juice for a vegan herb butter.
