A natural variation on the Ola brand Solero shot popsicles. These shots are essentially just a variation on a popsicle or sorbet. Like sorbet, watermelon has a high water content. To increase the sugar content and enhance the flavour, we impregnate the watermelon with sugar solution and vodka. Vacuum sealing the fruit will open the fruit and allow the watermelon to become saturated with the liquids you add. The added liquids also help ensure that the watermelon does not become too hard in the freezer.
