Flammkuchen with bacon and onion
Flammkuchen is an Alsatian speciality and consists of a very thin dough base, smeared with a mixture of crème fraîche and sour cream, then topped with diced smoked bacon and onion rings. Flammkuchen is baked short and hot at 280°C, as this ensures a wafer-thin and crispy result.
