Infused apple pastry
The ‘apple ball’ is a Dutch classic and a wonderful base for a dessert. For this variant, we infused the apple ball with sugar syrup and spices. The core is removed from the apple and refilled with a frangipane. For a well-shaped apple ball, use a firm apple variety.
