Tarte tatin
Many stories circulate about how tarte tatin once originated. However, the upside-down apple tart was made world-famous by the Tatin sisters. Use fresh and firm apples; the apples should not lose too much moisture while cooking.
Makes 1 with a Ø of 18 to 20 centimetres.
