Japanese marinated horse mackerel
The horse mackerel is found in the eastern parts of the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, and in the North Sea! The main difference with ‘regular’ mackerel is that you eat horse mackerel without the skin on, as it has barbs on it.
In this component, we marinate the horse mackerel in a delicious, umami-rich marinade.
Makes 500g.
